Type an offer code, which you use to track the offer in activities. Your organization defines the format for offer codes.

Select the offer type, which is a system type.

Optionally, select the media or methods, such as television or direct mail, through which you deliver treatments associated with the offer.

The channels determine the treatments you can associate with the offer. If you do not select any channels, you can associate any treatment in the activity with the offer. A channel is a system type.

Select any sub-activities to associate with the activity offer. You can select any of the sub-activities associated with the activity.

This field indicates the estimated number of recipients who will receive the offer. The value is calculated by adding the estimated quantities specified for all the cells with which the offer is associated.

This field indicates the total number of recipients who will receive the offer. The value is calculated by adding the actual quantities specified for all the cells with which the offer is associated.

This field indicates the estimated cost of the offer, which is based on the estimated costs of the offer's associated incentive and treatments.

This field indicates the offer's actual cost, which is based on the actual costs of the offer's associated incentive and treatments.

This field appears if the Show Estimated Revenue in Offers and Cells system parameter is set to Yes.

This field indicates the estimated revenue that will be generated by all the cells associated with the offer.

This field appears if the Show Estimated Revenue in Offers and Cells system parameter is set to Yes.

This field indicates the estimated revenue that will be generated by each recipient who responds to the offer.

Select the status of the offer:

• Current
  An offer must have the status of Current to be used in an activity. Activity offers have the Current status until the offer's expiration date occurs.
• Expired

  An offer is set to the status of Expired automatically when the expiration date for the offer occurs. When an offer in an activity expires, associations between the offer and objects in the activity are maintained. However, you will not be able to create new associations between the offer and objects in the activity.

  From the Offers module in an activity, you can change the status of an activity-specific offer to or from Expired as needed. For example, if an offer is extended past the original expiration date, you can change the status back to Current. To change the status of an offer that is not activity specific, you must edit the master offer.

Select the date the offer begins.

Select the date the offer ends. When an offer's expiration date occurs, the offer's status changes to Expired.

Select the offer's incentive from the incentives associated with the activity.

You can also create an incentive for an activity-specific offer from the Offers module in an activity.

The offer's offer type and offer types specified for incentives determine the incentives available for selection. An incentive is available to select when one of these conditions is met:

• The offer type specified for an offer is also specified as a valid offer type for the incentive.
• No valid offer types are specified for the incentive.

Select the products to associate with the offer.

Choose whether the offer is available only to the current activity or to all activities. You can edit this field if it is set to Yes. If you select No and save the record, you cannot change the value of this field.
