Audience Members in an Activity or Lead Process

The Audience Members module displays the audience members associated with the activity or lead process. You can use this module to add or edit audience members.

Note:
This feature is available in Aprimo Marketing Studio 9.1 only.
Example:
You are a retail company that is promoting a new type of hair care product. You create an activity that mails advertisements and coupons for the product to current female customers. You add the female audience members from the master audience members list to the activity.

Activity Details

The Activity Details section appears when you view or edit an audience member record in an activity.

Field Description
Status

Choose whether the audience member is active or inactive.

The application places these restrictions on an inactive audience member:

  • The audience member is not added to the begin step of an interaction.
  • If the audience member is processed by a communicate step in an interaction, it does not send the correspondence to the audience member.
Note:
You can define the status for an audience member in an activity when you create an activity type in the System Types module.
Activity Opt-Out

Choose whether the audience member will receive email messages sent from the activity.

This field can be updated through an opt-out form.

Note:
An interaction in the activity does not send an email message to an audience member for whom this field is set to Yes.
Groups and Profiles

Choose the groups and profiles to which the audience member in an activity belongs.

The group assignment determines whether an interaction processes the audience member.

Lead Process Details

The Lead Process Details section appears when you view or edit an audience member record in a lead process.

Additional Fields, Sections, and Tabs

Your system administrator can create additional fields for some objects and make them available for certain system types. Additional fields appear on the Details tab in the Additional Details section or in other sections or on other tabs that the system administrator creates.
