Leads Portal: Concepts

The Leads Portal enables you to review leads assigned to you. Depending on how your organization configures the Leads Portal, you might also be able to accept or reject leads, submit lead forms, and view histories about the lead.

Example:
Every Monday, you use the Leads Portal to view your new leads. You view detailed information including other leads from the same company. After you contact a lead, you complete the Update Lead form, and you include a summary of the contact and the next steps you plan to take.

If you are an escalation contact for a distribution group, you can review and update all the leads assigned to the salespeople in your distribution group.

Example:
You are the regional sales manager. You want to see the list of the leads assigned to all the salespeople on your team. As you review the list, you notice a lead is assigned to the wrong salesperson and reassign it to the correct salesperson.

Personal Information

The Personal Information section lists the lead's contact information.

Lead Information

You can edit this section if you have the rights to reassign leads. The values you select in these fields apply to all the leads you have selected for reassignment.

Field Description

Territory

Select the territory. A territory encompasses distribution groups.

Distribution Group

Select the distribution group, which contains the salespeople who are assigned to a lead.

Rep Assigned

Select the salesperson. If you have selected a territory and a distribution group, only the sales representatives associated with the distribution group appear in the list.

Lead Status

Select the lead's current status, which determines whether the lead appears in the Leads Portal.

Lead Quality

Select the lead's quality measurement. Your organization determines how lead quality is measured.

Lead Score

This field indicate's the lead's relative value. The score is usually assigned by lead processes.

Lead Source

This field identifies the way the lead was imported or entered into Aprimo.

Product

Select the product the lead is being targeted to purchase.

Notification

This section appears when you edit a lead.

Field Description

Send Notification to Sales Rep

Select whether a notification is sent when you reassign the lead.

Note:
A sales representative receives only 1 notification when multiple leads are reassigned or have their lead statuses changed.

Subject

This field appears if the Send Notification to Sales Rep field is set to Yes.

Type the subject line of the email notification.
