Master Participant List
This feature is available in Aprimo Marketing Studio 9.1 only.
The master participant list is a central place to store and manage information about participants. You use participants in two ways in Aprimo:
- A participant in an activity is a person who helps to complete an activity. A participant does not have to be an employee of your organization. For example, a volunteer for a charity event is also a participant.
- A participant in a lead process is a salesperson to whom a lead is assigned.
In the Participants module in an activity, you can add participants to the activity. In the Participants module in a lead process, you can add participants to the lead process. See Participants in an Activity or Lead Process.
The Response History module in a participant record shows each response that the participant has provided when completing inbound forms.
Participants or Suppliers
Sometimes, you need to determine whether a person is a participant or a supplier. Typically, you differentiate between participants and suppliers based on whether they bill you for their services.
A nationally recognized speaker agrees to speak at your conference. The speaker might be a participant or a supplier. If he agrees to speak for free, provided that you pay his travel and lodging expenses, you can track him as a participant. If he charges a fee and sends you an invoice, you should track him as a supplier.
