My Profile

You can change your personal preferences on My Profile. You can find My Profile on any page, by clicking on your avatar on the right top corner, and then choosing My Profile.

To update your preferences, select the Edit button in the header. Reset sets your preferences back to the default set by your admin.

Key Fields

On My Profile you'll see two tabs with preferences: Details and Activity Navigation Column:

Details

Personal Information, Contact Details and Address

On these sections you can update your contact details. Note that you cannot change your Log in ID yourself, if you need to change this, please contact your administrator.

Region and Language

Field Description

User Locale

Select the locale for your region. The locale sets your date, time, and number formats to the locale's default formats. It does not change the language you select.

Date Format

By default, the user locale sets the date format. Only change the Date Format if you prefer a different format then the default user locate format.

Note:
We suggest you maintain the value set by the locale for a consistent user experience.

Time Format

By default, the user locale sets the time format. Only change the Time Format if you prefer a different format then the default user locate format.

Note:
We suggest you maintain the value set by the locale for a consistent user experience.

Number Format

By default, the user locale sets the number format. Only change the Number Format if you prefer a different format then the default user locate format.

The number format determines which symbols represent decimals and separate groups of digits.

Language

Select your preferred language. This language is used on the user interface for Marketing Operations modules and features.

Note:
The user locale does not set or change the language you select.

DAM UI Language

Select your preferred language. This language is used on the Aprimo DAM user interface.

Note:
If no DAM UI language is specified, the Aprimo DAM user interface defaults to English (United States).

DAM Content Language

Select the language for digital asset fields that the you see by default in Aprimo DAM. These are fields that your organization has defined for assets.

Notes:
  • If no DAM Content language is specified, digital asset fields in Aprimo DAM default to English (United States).
  • Only languages that are enabled for fields on the Language Details page in Aprimo DAM are available to select.

Time Zone

Select your time zone.

Default Currency

Select the currency that appears as the first choice when you enter financial information.

Your system administrator configures which currencies are available. If you need an additional currency, contact your system administrator.

Other Preferences

Field Description

Preferred Landing Page

Select the page you want to open when you log on, e.g. Marketing Operations, DAM UI etc. You can also reach your preferred landing page by clicking the application header logo.

Use High Contrast Colors

When activated, this feature will adjust the fonts displayed in the application to increase the contrast ratio between the font and the surrounding background to help users with vision limitations.

 

Note: This setting does not affect all pages in the platform. Many of the newer pages in application are designed to meet industry standard contrast ratios natively and do not need any adjustments.

Auto Save

When you add or edit information on a page and click another tab, you are prompted to save your changes. You can set the Auto Save field to Yes to have those changes saved automatically.

Example:m You edit the project anchor date on an activity's Details tab, and click the Access List tab. The change is saved. If you choose to close the window while the tab is still in edit mode, you are asked if you want to save the changes.

Paper Size

Select the paper size you typically use for printing.

 

Out of Office

Use the Out of Office fields to turn Out of Office on or off and to assign backup users to complete your tasks and reviews when you're out of the office.

The application performs these actions when turning on Out of Office:

Note:
When the application assigns a project, activity (for forecasts), commitment, invoice, or proposal to a backup user, that object's audit trail records that the backup user was sent the review because the original assignee was out of office.

A user can serve as a backup user for multiple out of office users.

Example:
You and a co-worker are attending a conference. You assign User A as a backup user and turn on Out of Office. Your co-worker also selects User A as a backup user and turns on Out of Office. User A becomes the backup user for you and your co-worker.

The backup user receives the task and review notifications that the out of office user would have received while Out of Office is on.

Workflow Backup User

This field determines the backup user for your tasks and review tasks.

Note:
After a user turns on Out of Office, that user’s review tasks appear on the backup user’s My Approvals page.

Activity Financials Backup User

This field determines the backup user for your activity financial reviews.

Concept Review Backup User

This field determines the backup user for your concept reviews.

Investment Review Backup User

This field determines the backup user for your investment reviews.

Out of Office Indicator

Select Yes to turn on your Out of Office. Select No to turn it off.

Note:
You must click the Save button to activate the setting change.

Effective Start Date

Select the date you want Out of Office to start.

Effective End Date

Select the date you want Out of Office to end.

Annotations

Response Alerts

Select whether you receive an email notification when certain actions are taken on an annotation you created.

Alert Frequency

Select when the application sends out notifications about actions taken on an annotation you created.

You can select whether to have a daily summary sent to you or to have a notification sent immediately when an action is performed on an annotation.

Alert Types

Select the actions about which you want to be notified.

Pencil Tool Rule for Starting New Annotations

Select whether you want the lines you draw with the pencil tool to be "All Separate Annotations" or "All One Annotation". If you select "All One Annotation" the pencil tool will be persisted even if you have the user preference for "Persist Tool Selection" set to No.

Selecting "All One Annotation" means every line you draw until you select another tool on the annotation toolbar is considered the same annotation.

Persist Tool SelectionSelect whether you want the current annotation tool to be persisted or you would like to select a different annotation tool each time.

Copy Selected Text into Comments

Choose whether the application automatically copies text you select to the Comments field of certain annotations.

Tip:
In the Annotation Viewer, select text as usual with your mouse or keyboard. Then click an annotation tool button for a text type tool. The selected text automatically copies into the annotation's Comments field. Using keyboard shortcuts such as Ctrl-C is not necessary and will remove the copied text.

Annotations and Tag List Default

Select whether the list of annotations or tags in a viewer is populated with only the markup on the current page in the viewer, or with all markup stored for the document.

Activity View Options

Spend Focused Activity View

Select "Yes" to view Activities and Activity Proposals to allow focused on tracking spend by default. This view allows you to enter data, e.g. allocate funds, expenses more easily.
Note that you can toggle this view off at any time for a particular Activity or Activity Proposal.

Activity Navigation Column

Selected Navigation Groups

This field displays the navigation groups selected to appear on the activity navigation column. In each navigation group, you can select the navigation items to include.

To change the position of a navigation group, select the group and click the up arrow button or the down arrow button.

Available Navigation Groups

This field displays the navigation groups that can appear on the activity navigation column.

All modules licensed by your organization appear in this list. You can select any of these modules. However, only the modules you have permission to access appear in the navigation column.
