Microsoft Edge Support Announcement

NOTE: Starting on January 1, 2021 users will no longer be allowed to access Aprimo using Microsoft Edge Legacy browser. When a user tries to access Aprimo using Edge they will receive a message telling them it is not a supported browser and they must switch to using a supporting browser. The option to “Continue Anyway” will no longer be provided.

What:

As the Microsoft Edge Legacy browser continues to degrade in performance and stability, Microsoft has begun to phase this browser out of their Operation System support. With this approach from Microsoft, Aprimo has decided to restrict its usage from our application on January 1, 2021.

Why:

Microsoft has decided to end support of the Edge Legacy browser on March 9th 2021. After that date, the Microsoft Edge Legacy browser will no longer receive new security updates.

What does this mean?

Customers can continue to use Microsoft Edge Legacy today but it is strongly recommend to switch as soon as possible. Aprimo will provide limited support for Microsoft Edge Legacy until January 1, 2021. Given the constraints regarding the state of the browser, Aprimo may be unable to provide code fixes specifically for issues replicating in this browser and defer to the usage of our supported browsers (Chrome, Safari or Edge Chromium). Customers wishing to leverage new Aprimo features will need to convert to using Chrome, Safari or Edge Chromium (starting 10/15/2020) as the functionality of these features may not be fully functional in the Edge Legacy browser.
