Configuring Chrome

To access Aprimo with Chrome, turn off pop-up blockers and verify that the browser's zoom level is set to 100%.

Notes:
  • Chrome is automatically updated frequently. You might notice differences in Aprimo because of Chrome updates.
  • Chrome does not support opening or uploading network files. The system prevents users from uploading network files in Chrome.
  • The classic annotation and reference document viewers require Microsoft Silverlight, which Chrome does not support. Use Internet Explorer to view documents and files in the classic viewers. If your organization is an early adopter, you can use the HTML5 viewers. Alternatively, if you have Adobe Acrobat, you can use the offline review feature to view and annotate documents and files outside of Aprimo.

Turning Off Pop-up Blockers

You cannot use the application or portal if a pop-up blocker is enabled on your computer. To turn off Chrome's pop-up blocker:

  1. Click the Chrome menu in the right corner of your browser window.
  2. Click Settings and then click the Show advanced settings link at the end of the page.
  3. Under the Privacy section, click the Content settings button.
  4. In the Pop-ups section, check Allow all sites to show pop-ups.
  5. Click Done.
  6. Click the Close button to close the Settings tab.
Tip:
If you use a third-party pop-up blocker, click the option that allows pop-up windows from the site where the application and portal are installed. You might need to refresh the page to display the blocked information.

Setting the Zoom Level to 100%

Aprimo is designed to work with your browser's zoom level set to 100%. Setting the zoom to a different magnification can cause formatting issues on some application pages.

To check or change the zoom level on a classic UI page:

  1. In the upper right corner of the address bar, look for a magnifying glass icon.
  2. If the icon is not present, the zoom is set to 100%. No further configuration is required.
  3. If the icon is present, point to it.

A ScreenTip displays the current zoom magnification.

  4. Change the zoom level to 100%:
    • In Windows, hold the Ctrl key, and press the + or - key.
    • In macOS, hold the Command key, and press the + or - key.

To check or change the zoom level for a portal or next generation page:

  1. Click the Chrome menu in the right corner of your browser window.
  2. Verify the Zoom is set to 100%. If not, click the - or + button to zoom to 100%.
